FAQ
How much time does this take?
Usually a couple of hours. Or less. Or more. Seriously, that’s up to you. I don’t do the “8 appointments in 8 hours” thing, so we take as much time as I need to get what I feel are great images.
Can I bring a friend to my Senior Shoot?
To help out? Sure! If your friend wants photographs, however, I would rather have a seperate session with them.
Do I own the pictures?
The rights to all of the images are owned by me. I do that because its the only way I can control the quality. My photographs are printed by the best professional lab I have ever worked with, and they are retouched by me, on a computer that I calibrate for color once a week. Getting your images through me ensures that you get the best prints possible.
You Shot 100 images, and we only got 20! Why?
A leaf fell on your cheek, your eye was shut, there was a dog in the background. I sort the best images from each location, and give you plenty to choose from.
How many changes of clothes do I get, Where do we shoot, What can I wear????
Ok, slow down, you’re taking the fun out of it! this is your day. Wear whatever you want. We’ll go wherever you want (I have some ideas, if you are interested). If you saw something in a magazine at you thought was cool, bring it along. I bet I can come up with somethng you like. This is about you. We want the very best images we can get.
Do you shoot in a studio?
I shoot 90 percent of family and senior portraits outside. I have never been much of a “lean on the roman column” kind of guy. However, I have a full studio setup, and if you want pictures in a controlled setting (wedding, family reunion) I can do it easily. Contact me for more information.
How does wedding photography work?
I ususally shoot from 1 hour before the ceremony until 2 hours into the reception. I also suggest that the bride and groom meet with me the week before the wedding, and we do a couples session.
